The best fit is the one you forget you are wearing. A few minutes with a soft measuring tape can help you find a more comfortable starting point.
1. Measure your band
Wear a lightly lined bra or no bra. Keep the tape level and snug around your ribcage, directly beneath the bust. Breathe normally; the tape should feel secure but not restrictive.
2. Measure your bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape relaxed and parallel to the floor. Compare this number with your band measurement using your preferred brand?s size chart.
3. Check the feel
- The band should sit level and remain secure on the loosest hook when new.
- Cups should lie smooth, with no gaping, spilling, or pinching.
- Straps should support without digging in; they are not meant to carry all the weight.
- Move, reach, and take a deep breath?the fit should still feel comfortable.
Between sizes?
Start with comfort. If a band feels too snug, consider a sister size with a larger band and smaller cup; if it rides up, try a firmer band. Product materials and styling can affect fit, so always review the item description before purchasing.
